Job summary The Ophthalmology Department is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to work as a receptionist within our busy department on a full time basis. This is a challenging role dealing with patients coming for appointments and also surgery. You will also support our Injection Co-Ordinators with booking appointments, answering the telephone, booking appointments The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the following skills: Excellent customer service skills.Be able to work well under pressure. Communicate well with patients and other staff of all levels. Be able to operate effectively as part of a team or using your own initiative. You will be supported by experienced staff whilst working as part of a team delivering a high quality service to patients and other departments within the hospital.
