The role
The Marketing Director is responsible for executing innovative marketing strategies and projects that enhance our brand presence, drive business growth, and engage our target audience. This role requires a hands-on, strategic thinker with a strong background in marketing, ideally from an agency environment or advertising/AdTech/production adjacent.
You will play a pivotal role in managing and executing a broad range of marketing activities, including content creation, event management, PR and communications, awards submissions, partnership initiatives, and thought leadership development. Reporting to senior leadership, this role requires hands-on execution experience to amplify our technology solutions and position our brand as a market leader. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impactful marketing campaigns that support our business objectives.
The Marketing Director, reporting into the Global Head of Marketing and Chief Growth Officer EMEA with key stakeholders in the EMEA leadership team, is responsible for the ownership and timely execution of the strategy and comms within the agreed annual marketing budget, whilst working closely with the CEO, Growth Team and regional Marketing Directors in AMS and APAC.
Responsibilities
* Marketing Execution: Drive and manage large-scale marketing initiatives, including content creation, PR, events, lead gen campaigns, award submissions, and partnership campaigns.
* Project & Campaign Management: Oversee campaigns from briefing (e.g., creative assets, product reels) to execution, ensuring all deliverables meet expectations.
* Communications Management: Lead internal and external communications for Tag technology, including newsletters, quarterly business reviews, client updates, product launches, business updates etc.
* Event Coordination & Management: Organise events, workshops, and meetings to showcase Tag technology opportunities internally and externally.
* PR & Branding: Drive opportunities such as award submissions, speaking engagements, partnerships and sponsorships to enhance visibility.
* Content Creation: Develop and manage case studies, success stories, decks, one-pagers, and other marketing collateral. Generate ideas for market activation, product announcements, and client engagement strategies.
* Digital: Co-manage publishing calendars for LinkedIn and Tag Insights to maximize awareness and engagement. Direct website projects, including copy, UX, design, ensuring optimal functionality and branding.
* Community Building: Maintain and build an internal community and understanding of our services, products and tech offering, such as arranging regular educational forums and creating and contributing to resource hubs, fostering a thirst for innovation across the business.
* Budget Management: Management of marketing budget within the projects you work across.
* Stakeholder Collaboration & Integration: Build relationships across teams, regions, and dentsu entities to ensure alignment. Facilitate cross-regional initiatives, internal forums, and educational sessions to build understanding and enthusiasm for Tag’s solutions.
* Industry Representation: Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, conferences, and client-facing opportunities.
