Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading provider of Industrial Automation products.
The successful candidate will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts through distribution channels and OEM customers for Industrial Automation products such as valves, machine vision, sensors, actuators, pneumatics, AC DC motors, pumps, instrumentation, and related products or systems.
Ideally, the candidate will have experience selling or managing key accounts within industrial automation and instrumentation.

Role Responsibilities
Will have a primary focus on selling and managing key accounts within the Industrial Automation and Instrumentation industry via distribution channels and OEM customers.
1. Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling various automation products.
2. Maintain sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
3. Work remotely covering the North - Yorkshire, Manchester, Durham, and surrounding areas with regular visits to customer sites.
4. Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements
1. Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within industrial automation or a similar industry.
2. Experience selling industrial automation products.
3. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and bring on new business within the Industrial Automation marketplace.
4. Full clean driving license.
5. Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the North.
