Role Overview
This role is based in evo ’s offices in Normanton, Wakefield (or Sheffield) and reports into the Group Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Value who is based in Shropshire and works remotely.
The Corporate Social Responsibility team will consist of two people (including this role). The team collaborates extensively with Marketing; Merchandising; Quality, Environment and Health & Safety; Sales; People (HR); Transport and Operations functions across the whole group.
The successful candidate will be passionate about Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability and will be looking to develop their career in this area.
Role Objective
Working within a successful and dynamic B2B company, the Corporate Social Responsibility Administrator will help to report, analyse and evidence Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Value activity across EVO’s brands – Banner, Complete and VOW Wholesale.
The overall aim of the team is to drive forward the Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability agenda across the business, ensuring progress against targets within the four pillars and especially in high visibility topics such as Decarbonisation and Responsible Procurement. Progress is communicated in conjunction with Marketing, enabling stakeholders to raise awareness amongst key target audiences across public and private sectors, and supporting the sales teams with their new business efforts.
This role will have a particular focus on gathering data, analysis and reporting, answering questionnaires, responding to enquiries from stakeholders and maintaining a library of CSR information.
Responsibilities
* Managing the collation of data from across the business into our Evolution CSR and Decarbonisation databases, ensuring accuracy.
* Managing the various libraries of information around CSR that inform employees on progress and help to educate.
* Responding to CSR and Sustainability surveys and questionnaires from our customers to support sales.
* Supporting on submissions and disclosures to SEDEX, Net Positive and Ecovadis Sustainability Platforms for each evo trading company.
* Analysis and trend reporting arising from the evolution CSR and decarbonisation data in order to retarget and understand next steps.
* Reviewing CSR and Sustainability trends in the marketplace to ensure our knowledge and that of colleagues is up to date.
* Reviewing competitor offerings in the marketplace.
* Being the ‘on hand’ CSR Representative for colleagues at Normanton Office.
* Supporting the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility with the above and more.
Qualifications / Experience / Attributes
Essential:
* Experience in an analysis and data management in a previous role.
* Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and TEAMs.
* Knowledge of Power BI.
* Good written and spoken English, with the ability to summarise reporting.
* Good attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and a good level of professionalism to work with multiple stakeholders inside and outside the business.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple deadlines on time.
* A self-starter with the ability to work without support when required.
* Good time management skills. This role involves managing multiple tasks and stakeholders and this person will need to be able to prioritise tasks.
* Good relationship management skills. This role involves working with many departments and across the Evo brands to gather information and respond effectively.
Desirable:
* Experience of warehousing, transport or procurement
* Knowledge of sustainability platforms and standards such as SASB, GRI and TOMs for Social Value.
* The option to study for a level 5 Apprenticeship in CSR/Sustainability will be available to this role.
