We are seeking a well-qualified, highly-skilled and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 / Primary-trained teacher with a Mathematics specialism to teach across Year 4 to Year 6 pupils in the Prep School. The successful candidate should be able to teach, inspire and nurture all pupils in their Maths learning. They should consistently model excellent practice, have proven classroom management skills and be able to make a significant contribution to this busy and vibrant part of the School. A solid grounding in a Teaching for Mastery approach to Maths is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will join an eighteen-strong, expert and highly experienced Maths department. The department promotes a stimulating learning environment that allows its team members to feel engaged, supported and motivated, and provides the forum for collaborative work. They will be a strong mathematician, be exemplary in their professionalism and educational practice, and will demonstrate high levels of commitment to the development of Mathematics at Harrodian, including engaging with the whole school enthusiasm for evidence-informed teaching and learning. They will embody our ethos and understand the value of a Harrodian education.

Working days and hours
This is a full-time, permanent position. Working hours during term-time are: Mondays from 08h00 to 17h00 and Tuesdays to Fridays from 08h15 to 17h00.

The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.
