Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join the radiology nursing team within an Imaging department which holds the Quality Standards for Imaging accreditation. Radiology has expanded across all modalities, with the opening of the new Clinical Diagnostic Centre this year. This centre will provide diagnostic imaging to approximately 450 people a day. In 2020, we opened the new Norfolk Centre for Interventional Radiology (NCIR). The NCIR houses Siemens equipment performing a range of elective and Inpatient procedures. We have two high-end Pheno systems in 2 of the 4 theatres all supported by a dedicated 16-bed recovery space. A range of Vascular and Non-vascular interventional procedures are currently performed at the NNUH and we aim to expand these services to be at the forefront of IR developments. The post involves managing and supporting the Interventional Radiology nursing team as well as the wider radiology nursing team, while also working alongside a dedicated radiographic team. You will work closely with the Imaging matron, NCIR service lead radiographer and other Imaging modality leads. As post holder, you will be expected to be dynamic and engaged, sharing enthusiasm and ambition to help NNUH lead in Radiology nursing while maintaining high professional standards.
