Talent Attraction Sourcer (Contract) Hybrid in Cheswick, Pennsylvania
Curtiss-Wright is looking for a Talent Attraction Sourcer (Contract) to join our high-volume Global Talent Acquisition Team! This key role will be primarily responsible for proactively sourcing, attracting and engaging candidates, to build a robust pipeline of diverse talent for our critical positions. Location: Pittsburgh (Cheswick) | Onsite / Hybrid
Responsibilities:
1. Partner with Talent Acquisition and Business Partners to fully understand talent needs and requirements.
2. Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search, interest groups, Google X-Ray) with an exclusive focus on passive talent.
3. Recommend and execute sourcing strategies.
4. Create a “buzz” in the talent market by networking through industry-related groups, specialty job boards, employer branding programs.
5. Primarily source, cultivate, and conduct prescreens to recommend candidates to the Talent Acquisition Partner.
6. Perform market research to understand where diverse, external talent pools exist and work to execute on diversity sourcing initiatives.
7. Participate in and coordinate job fairs for recruitment purposes.
8. Keep detailed records and information on sourced talent.
9. Ensure compliance with all hiring policies, practices, and company values.
What You Bring:
1. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
2. Proven experience as a Talent Sourcer/Recruiter from within engineering or a technical field.
3. Strong communication skills and a willingness to interact with all participants in the recruiting process.
4. In-depth knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn, Recruiter, Indeed, and other professional networks.
5. Ability to quickly get up to speed and hit the ground running with a heavy workload.
6. Familiarity with sourcing for niche technical roles to effectively assess candidate qualifications.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and a tenacious attitude for sourcing.
8. Ability to travel for job fairs as required.
9. Previous ATS experience (Workday preferred).
10. A quiet, secure work-from-home space with the ability to openly communicate.
11. Resilience for change and ambiguity to support the fast-paced changing needs of our business.
