Job Title: Duty Social Worker
Location: St Helens
Rate: £44.48 per hour
St Helens are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Social Worker to join their team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will respond to referrals from MASH and complete assessments within 45 days. You will identify needs and work with children and families to provide support and implement plans. Handling section 47 enquiries, CIN, assessments, and planning will be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with professionals to support children and their families. Additionally, you will manage cases involving children on child in need plans for short-term periods until they either step down or step up to ICPC, at which point cases will transfer to the longer-term assessment service. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that children receive the appropriate support and care they need during these transitions.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK license, have post-qualified experience, and hold a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
