Who You Are A qualified and experienced Social Worker with substantial experience in the statutory Adult's Social Care service, particularly within the Learning Disability and Autism Team. You have the ability to manage complex cases, make informed decisions, and have great organizational skills to handle a fluctuating caseload. What the Job Involves This role requires you to contribute to the delivery of an effective Vulnerable People Service, ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of vulnerable individuals. You will manage a complex caseload, conduct high-quality assessments, and create support plans to address the needs of vulnerable people. In this position, you will work within legislative frameworks, negotiate personalized care arrangements, and work cooperatively with multi-agency professionals. Additionally, you will be involved in teaching, assessment of social work students, and may need to testify in court as required.
