Job Title: People Data Analyst
Location: Liverpool
Contract Type: 12 month FTC
The Role
The People Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality people data, reporting & MI services to the business. As Technical SME across People data products, the role is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality reporting solutions and insights to the business. The role actively contributes to ongoing People data management practices, ensuring accuracy across People data domains.
Outcomes of the Role
* Delivery of high-quality business dashboards in SuccessFactors Report Stories and Power BI, to enable evidence-driven decision making.
* Responsive and effective support for HR and People teams, delivering insights that meet business needs.
* Timely and accurate resolution of routine and ad-hoc data requests, ensuring seamless access to critical people data while reducing inefficiencies in reporting and analytics processes.
* Administer routine data quality audits, engaging with business data owners to ensure timely resolution to facilitate accurate People data management & reporting.
* Supporting People Data & MI Lead as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Hands-on expertise with SuccessFactors People Analytics (Report Stories).
* SQL proficiency for querying, analysing, and interpreting large datasets (ideally Snowflake).
* Experience developing MI reports and working with complex HR data.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel.
* Experience developing dashboards in visualisation tools, ideally Power BI or Tableau.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
* Demonstrated experience understanding business questions and drawing meaningful and actionable insights to aid evidence-based decision making.
* Ability to communicate simple and persuasive stories using complex data or analysis aimed at a variety of stakeholders, including non-technical audiences, through effective visuals (using e.g. MS PowerPoint) or dashboards (using e.g. Power BI or equivalent).
* Time management skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver to strict deadlines.
* Experience working as a People Data Analyst or in a similar role within HR/People functions.
* Degree or work experience in a subject with a strong data analysis or statistical element.
