Suffolk Doctoral College Post Graduate Research Systems Administrator Permanent, Part time, 14.8 hours per week (flexibility on how these hours are worked, 0.4 FTE) Band 2 - £25,148 to £27,344 pro rata annum, pro rata About the role This post will provide administrative support in all matters relating to Suffolk Doctoral College and associated work with our institutional PGR partners and wider professional services within the University of Suffolk. Tasks related to this post include but are not limited to providing administrative support for the development of procedures and processes relating PGR systems for Suffolk Doctoral College team. The post holder will work collaboratively with Professional Services across the institution to provide necessary support for PhD students. The postholder with ensure the highest standard of record keeping, maintaining accurate, complete, and up to date records and record minutes for meetings as required. The postholder will also work flexibly as a committed member of the wider Research and Knowledge Exchange Directorate. About You We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a transformational ‘can do’ outlook, who is student and solution focused. You will have excellent IT skills in use of databases and Microsoft packages including Office 365, Excel and Word, with an interest in systems and data. As you will often be working with confidential personal data, you will have a proven ability to work accurately and to a high standard. You will be a pro-active team player with the ability to work at pace undertaking a variety of administrative tasks.
