New SEMH School in Chelmsford

LT Support have partnered with a dedicated SEMH school group with two sites in Essex. One for KS1 and KS2 and their new site for KS3 and KS4.
The new site is looking for Subject Specialist Secondary Teachers. The successful teachers will coordinate and facilitate learning through engaging, well-sequenced, and appropriately challenging lessons which ensure that pupils know and remember more. Using a team teaching approach, you will work with a partner teacher in classes of up to 8 students (avg. 6). Teachers at the school teach and plan for National Curriculum subjects, linking learning to students' curriculum needs, individual needs, progress plans, and assessments of children's learning and achievement. Teachers write two achievement reports over the year, assess students' achievement and progress using formative assessment milestones, and ensure that books/folders are well presented and kept up to date.

* To ensure learning and lessons are well sequenced and meet the needs of children.
* To lead on ensuring the learning environment is attractive, positive, and uncluttered.
* To ensure assessment for learning/assessing progress is kept up to date, monitored, and used effectively to support each child's learning.
* To contribute to the school's breakfast, break, lunch, assembly, exercise, and extra-curricular provision.
* To role-model the values the school stands for and to be a role-model of outstanding professionalism.

Ideally, you will have experience in an SEMH/SEN environment. If you do not have QTS but are a graduate or unqualified teacher willing to work towards QTS, the school will support you with this.
