Please note this role is for Food Manufacturing Team Leader- this role is not within Iceland Stores. Role Details Role: Team Leader (Production/Manufacturing) Hours: 40 hours per week Shift Pattern: Nights, Sunday- Thursday, 22:00-06:00 Salary: £15.68 per hour Contract: Permanent Job Description To be responsible for the smooth running of the production line to deliver production targets, with the ability to recognise errors, to rectify them quickly and effectively and drive improvement. To lead and motivate your team, ensuring all personnel are appropriately trained / dressed and follow procedures. Responsibilities will include: Smooth running of production lines to deliver targets whilst keeping high standards of health and safety and food safety Accurately recording information for the whole line ensuring full traceability Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to maximise efficiency and minimise cost Completing quality control check Minimise line downtime and waste Completing on-the-job training with line operatives Good understanding of machinery on the line People and resource planning Working cross-functionally, escalating issues and giving/receiving handovers Being proactive in recognising any issues on the line and using initiative to solve problems or escalating to the Production management team where necessary.
