* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and expert advice.
* Verification Activities to ensure compliance with Technical Standards, Design Performance Standards, and Operational Performance Standards.
* Facilitation of technical lessons learnt through the Lessons Learnt Database, driving continuous improvement.
* Verification of Engineering Methods and Tools.
* Knowledge of industry rules, standards, and guidance related to Process Safety, including ABS, DNV, API, IOGP, Energy Institute, ISO, IChemE/AIChE, Step Change in Safety, etc.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and oversight to teams as needed.
Process Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, facilitating a safe working environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with Projects and Asset Operations to develop and review Safety Cases, manage Safety Critical Elements, and define, report, and analyze Process Safety Indicators.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in incident investigations, leveraging knowledge to enhance processes and safety protocols.
Skill Requirements: Familiarity with BowTieXP, Synergi Life, and Barrier Management solutions (e.g., Enablon, Sphera, RiskPoynt) is advantageous.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Master's degree in Process Safety Engineering or related discipline, or Bachelor's degree.
Experience: Significant experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry, particularly in Projects and Operations phases of Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) assets within Operating Company and Contractor environments, or closely related industries.
Requirements: Previous experience working as Principal Engineer/Lead Engineer is required. Previous experience working as Technical Authority/Subject Matter Expert is desirable.
