Do you have a knack for translating business needs into innovative, technical solutions? We’re looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our fast growing Consulting division. In this client-facing role, you will lead engagements that deliver impactful business assets, ranging from early-stage discovery outcomes to fully functional systems and platforms. Reporting to the Advisory Team Lead, you’ll work closely with engineering teams to ensure solutions (data / cloud / applications) are technically sound, tailored to client requirements, and delivered to exceed expectations. In addition to requirement elicitation and creation of tailored solutions, you will have a depth of technical delivery experience in different tools (including dashboard building, database creation and pipelining across both AWS and Azure) and will be responsible to define and build representative Concept Demonstrators and Minimum Value Propositions. Job Responsibilities Drive requirement elicitation and management across different projects for our clients. Analyse business requirements and use cases from a benefit analysis perspective, outlining the value in addressing technical and non-technical debt. Lead the definition of technical and non-technical solutions for challenges faced by our clients. Provide direction, advice and support to organizational change, process and controls change management, and technology development teams during the design and build of solutions and services. Definition of solutions for our clients. Orchestrate the delivery of technical debt as a product owner. Delivery of small technical solutions, concept demonstrators and MVP’s Carry out horizon scanning to identify emerging technology and industry trends and assess their potential impact and opportunity to become Envitia offerings to the market. Develop cost models, risk assessments, and business cases for proposed solutions. Skills Required Business Requirement Elicitation Strong experience across requirement elicitation and management. Strong client facing skills with experience in delivering impactful artefacts representing technical and business issues and challenges. Solid experience in managing business and technical requirements and establish governance structures to ensure these are met throughout the lifecycle of the project. Experience in transforming needs and challenges into consolidated Use Cases and additional UML patterns. Experience in delivering business and technical recommendations, supported or not via proposed roadmaps of change. Strong experience as product owner, responsible to manage and orchestrate teams of delivery and engineering staff. Experience in requirement management portals and frameworks, including Kanban, Azure DevOps or Jira, amongst others. Experience in the delivery of consolidated requirements, such as EPICs or Personas. Experience in transforming needs and challenge into opportunities and Business Cases, via benefit analysis frameworks. Technical Delivery Good experience in delivering data visualisation and dashboarding solutions in tools such as PowerBI or Tableau. Good experience in data wrangling and data pipelining using Python, SQL or AWS glue. Good experience in defining and creating databases and data storage solutions employing 3NF, graph databases and NoSQL would be a major advantage Development experience of Microsoft Power platform would be a major advantage. Use and employment of data Lakehouse technologies, such a Databricks, Snowflake and/or Microsoft Fabric. Experience in Front end development – particularly in React or Angular would be a major advantage. Solution Design Exposure to a range of modern architectures including data streaming, real-time processing, distributed computing, cloud computing, visualisation, analytics, machine learning and data Lakehouses. Experience in cloud architectures and applications, ideally with relevant AWS or Azure certifications. Experience in defining Assurance managed services approach to audit readiness and compliance with process and controls standards such as SOC1 and SOC2, and support projects in meeting these standards. Relevant certifications or training across key frameworks, such as TOGAF, DAMA or COBIT would be a differentiator. Core Skills Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Proven experience in major transformation projects. Experience at Presenting to Director level stakeholders and/or Technical Design Authority forums to secure approval from relevant stakeholders, including colleagues from business, operations, and IT Experience in pre-sales activities, including developing proposals and delivering client presentations. Multiskilling and adaptability are key traits across Envitia and you will be expected to deliver projects across different domains and technical stacks and technologies. Experience with Defence or Central Government clients. Security Clearance Requirements The successful candidate must be eligible to go through a SC level security clearance. Location The role will be required onsite in our Horsham offices 1 day a week and travel to client sites when required.
