HR Advisor
* Annual Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)
* Location: Blackburn, BB1
* Job Type: Temporary until March 2025
Join a leading Fire & Security company who are a leader in innovative security systems and services with a history spanning over 200 years. Reed is currently seeking an ER Services Advisor to join a high-performing shared services team. This role is crucial in providing professional and accurate Employee Relations advice to the business, ensuring the best outcomes for both employees and the company.
Day-to-day of the role:
1. Receive and action telephone enquiries from the business.
2. Provide specialist support and advice in relation to employee relations matters to line managers and employees.
3. Attend meetings with managers across the business to discuss and resolve ER issues.
4. Provide support on projects within the HR department.
5. Administer HR processes and procedures.
6. Ensure completion of cases within KPI timescales.
7. Manage and maintain accurate employee records and files.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Prior experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to ER related matters.
2. Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
3. Ability to work towards tight deadlines with high volumes and conflicting demands.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and team player.

Working Hours:
1. Monday – Friday | Rota 9am - 5pm then 8am - 4pm | Hybrid working.
(During your first two weeks, you will be fully office-based, after which you will be working from home on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.)
