Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for a full time, permanent, Band 8A LEDER and Tackling Health Inequalities Lead within the Learning Disability, Autism and Neurodiversity (LDAN) function within the Chief Medical Officer's directorate, with strong links to the Chief Nursing Officer directorate, working together to improve services in this important area of healthcare.
The post holder will provide specialist skills, knowledge, and leadership across the Devon ICS LEDER programme. Leading and line managing a team of reviewers, undertaking, and allocating LEDER reviews, as well as supporting reviewers to conduct their review activity. They will drive service improvement in partnership with health and social care providers and provide Quality Assurance for the LEDER programme within the ICB. The post holder will contribute to and lead work focused on implementing practice changes identified from LEDER related learning. The post holder will also support related work outside of the focused remit of the LEDER Programmes that seeks to address health inequalities for people with a learning disability, autism or both. This post will afford the successful applicant the opportunity to really help make a difference for people's health and wellbeing in Devon.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with the Local Area Contact (LAC), LeDeR and Tackling Health Inequalities Specialist to lead the implementation of learning into practice across the ICS, reducing health inequalities with specific focus working with Public Health programmes to support LAC, GP Clinical Lead and Commissioner, delivery on reducing health inequalities programme.

1. Educated to masters' level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area
