Based at Arbroath Academy, Glenisla Drive, Arbroath.
This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed
In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
As a Senior School Technician you will be responsible for the preparation of resources and maintenance of equipment. You will participate in ensuring Health & Safety regulations are being adhered to across the school.
You will adhere to the Council’s Health & Safety and COSHH regulations and work in partnership with the Council’s IT team to maintain and manage the school’s digital equipment. In addition you will support all practical faculties with resource management and provide technical advice to colleagues, teaching and non-teaching throughout the school.
As part of this role, you will be working with learners and colleagues every day. You will have the opportunity to participate in on-the-job training and your continuous development will be encouraged and supported.
