As an MLS Lawyer, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating asset management documents, including leases, licences, and other related agreements. You will manage a range of asset management transactions such as renewals, assignments, terminations, and grants of lease, ensuring compliance with regulations and client standards. Your role will involve close collaboration with clients' in-house legal, estates, and operational teams, providing clear legal and commercial advice on strategies specific to their portfolios.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating asset management documents such as leases, licences, surrenders, and extensions.
2. Managing asset management transactions and ensuring timely service and client satisfaction.
3. Ensuring compliance with all regulations affecting the client's portfolio.

5. Working closely with internal teams to provide strategic legal advice specific to the client's portfolio.
About You:
Our client is looking for a candidate who has:
1. England & Wales qualified Solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE and strong experience in asset management matters.

3. Commercial awareness and an understanding of industry trends and risk mitigation.
4. An interest in using legal technology to enhance service delivery and drive efficiencies.
5. Experience within the food and beverage sector would be advantageous but not necessary.

Why Apply?
This is a unique opportunity to join a new team within an international firm and gain in-depth experience in asset management and build a close relationship with your client, all while enjoying the stability and work-life balance that you would usually associate with an in-house role. If you're looking to move away from a traditional fee-earning role and focus on high-level legal delivery in a supportive environment, this is the perfect opportunity. In addition, as one of the first recruits to the team, you would get the opportunity to play a key role in the future shape of the team.
