A Secondary SEMH school in Buckinghamshire is seeking a passionate Community Teacher for permanent roles. In this rewarding position, you will manage a caseload of up to five students who have faced challenges in their educational journey, providing tailored academic support and essential pastoral care.
About You:
* Qualifications: Hold a teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or be willing to work towards it; degree or equivalent with Maths and English at Level 2.
* Experience: Teaching experience across the secondary age range, with a creative and adaptable approach. Familiarity with virtual learning environments is desirable.
* Skills: Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage student behavior effectively.
* Partnership & Community Engagement: Experience collaborating with parents, community organizations, and stakeholders to support diverse student needs.
* Knowledge: Understanding of equality of opportunity, safeguarding, and inclusion issues in alternative education settings.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address challenges faced by students, ensuring appropriate follow-up and support.
* Commitment to Excellence: A positive role model who fosters a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
