Assistant Contract Manager CrossCountry are recruiting an Assistant Contract Manager to join our growing Fleet team, that will support the delivery of, via the maintenance and outstations contract(s), the required number of safe, clean and reliable trains to fulfil the daily fleet operation. The role also requires the Assistant Contract Manager to support the commercial contract management of maintenance agreements in all aspects including outstation management issues to protect and improve the CrossCountry position. The role of Assistant Contract Manager is accountable for: Support the identification of opportunities where value for can be obtained on all fleet costs. Support the financial management of the maintenance / outstations contact(s) including budgeting and forecasting. Responsible for the management and timely correct attribution of fleet related metrics i.e. cancellations, delay minutes and Mp701D utilising industry systems such as ACUMEN, Bugle, Web Gemini and TRUST. Day-to-day liaison with maintenance and outstations suppliers informal and formal means i.e. minuted minutes and formal contractual correspondence. Support CrossCountry Contract Managers to deliver all contractual obligations. Complete audits as required to assure that contractual obligations and divested safety responsibilities are being delivered. Support Contract Managers with the management of fleet related aspects of the Service Quality Regime (SQR). Support Contract Managers with the management and compliance of the Persons with Reduced Mobility Legislation (NTSN-PRM) related to fleet. Participate in Fleet ‘On Call’. Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications & Training Commercial, Contractual, General Management and / or engineering related qualification or experience a benefit. Ideally previous experience of working in a railway operating / engineering environment however if relevant transferrable skills can be demonstrated from another industry, then these will be considered.
