Job summary Herts & West Essex Integrated Care Board is a leading NHS organisation with an award-winning governing body. Working closely with partner organisations, the ICB'sstaff design, plan and commission health services for more than half a million people and monitor the quality and effectiveness of those services.The ICB currently has a vacancy for Database & System Manager within the Continuing Healthcare (CHC) team. The post holder will support the CHC team across the ICB in the provision of a safe and effective service by providing an effective data system and data analysis and will be responsible for the day-to-da running of data systems within the department. The post-holder will support the team in understanding the complexity of data management; training in using the system and delivery of an accurate data system. Main duties of the job The post holder will work closely with the Head of Service for the 3 place based CHC teams, CHC Business Managers, the Quality & Governance Manager and Finance team. They will deliver a service in line with agreed plans and budgets through proactive monitoring and analysis of contracts and performance, providing an in-depth understanding of variances and deviations from contacts, through standard reports and timely communication with relevant colleagues. The post holder will provide and submit data returns in line with statutory requirement and ensure the CHC data systems are compliant with GDPR legislation. The post covers a wide remit in supporting the information requirements for the CHC service and the post holder will apply experience of NHS data, information analysis techniques and statistics to collate, analyse interpret and present data so that meaning is added and decisions can be made by ICB colleagues.
