We are now recruiting for a Vet Surgeon to join the busy team at a successful first opinion small animal veterinary practice in the City of St Albans area on the London borders.
Role:
* Excellent full time permanent opportunity working 40 hours a week including 1 in every 3 weekends on a rota and no OOH. (part time hours could also be considered)
* practice has state of the art equipment including full operating theatre, in house Idexx lab machines, microscopy, ultrasound, digital x-ray, modern dental machine, tonopen, rhinoscope, endoscopy, multi-parameter unit, isoflurane and sevoflurane.
* varied first opinion caseload with orthopaedic surgeries in practice.
* join a lovely team of 5 Vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 3 VCAs, 2 Receptionists and a Practice Manager.
* work alongside a team with varied interests including orthopaedics and general surgery
* ideally you will already have good experience in practice and work well in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* generous CPD allowance and funding towards certificates available
* paid membership fees (RCVS, BVA, VDS)

Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* confident with routine consults and surgeries
