Are you an experienced Health & Social care worker who's on the lookout for a rewarding flexible job? Look no further as we have a great opportunity for you!
Our amazing #TeamNewDeer relief pool is growing, so we've now got relief Complex Care Practitioner job opportunities available. The great thing about our relief contracts is they give you flexibility. You tell us when you're available and we will try to give you shifts that fit.
Shift Patterns
We provide dedicated around-the-clock support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so our shift patterns do involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and sleepovers.
The Role
As a relief colleague, you will play an important part in our team, ensuring that we still provide the best care and support possible during times of staff training, holidays, and absence.
You'll become part of a friendly, welcoming team who provide complex care and support to eight individuals who are all on the Autism spectrum. There's never a dull moment at New Deer; no two days are ever the same, and you'll always be kept on your toes!
In addition to working directly with individuals with complex care needs, you'll also work in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team and the individuals' families and guardians to ensure each individual has a robust and outcome-focused support plan.
You'll support individuals to manage their own homes, increase and maintain their independence, and encourage and support them with their social, health, and wellbeing needs.
The people we support all have different hobbies and interests, so we’ll need you to bring creativity and enthusiasm into supporting them to access leisure activities, engage in meaningful activities, and take part in hobbies and interests that are important to them, both within their home and out in their local communities.
