SEMH Learning Mentor - SN2

My client is looking for a committed Learning Mentor to support children with SEMH needs in an inclusion unit at the school. Help create a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere where every child can thrive! This position is available on a full-time basis on a permanent contract, starting ASAP.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Assisting a teacher with managing the classroom and student behavior
* Ensuring children's safety and well-being by evaluating potential risks
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and taking initiative
* Applying knowledge of the curriculum in your daily activities
* Communicating clearly with both children and adults, orally and in writing

* Possess empathy, patience, and a caring nature, with insight into children's unique needs
* Have a solid understanding of sensory processing issues and communication challenges
* Excel at building meaningful relationships with children
