Mission: We are looking for an ecad key user to join our Engineered to Order (ETO) Team in Leeds. In this role you will have the opportunity to support the customer design requirements by managing the references and design blocks in EPLAN and SeeXP and be accountable for effective working of the tools, within allocated timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead locally eCAD administration tasks (Symbol, DB, etc.).
2. Support designers on eCAD use for customer projects and introduction to the software.
3. Interface with Central team.
4. Support deployment (pilot, training, local needs identification).
5. Support daily the end users (Support Level1), collect feedback users, propose technical solution.
6. Create the local components or sub-circuits.
7. Manage the local library and ensure the translation in local language.
8. Collect bugs, report to Central team (ETPE), to eCAD editor if needed.
9. Manage new release deployment.
10. Train & coach the users and new comers, with pedagogy and expertise.
11. Can participate to workshop with all key users (English spoken needed).
Skills and Attributes:
1. Proven experience in an Electrical Design Engineering position or similar role.
2. Proven ECAD key user skills.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD electrical and EPLAN.
4. Ideally qualified with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a relevant engineering discipline, or relevant experience in the industry.
