We have developed a new taught MSc Dietetics (pre-registration) programme to complement our existing academic portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate Nutrition degrees. The new course has been developed with the involvement of key stakeholders and placement partners across a wide area within and surrounding Oxford. We are looking for an enthusiastic Lecturer in Dietetics and Nutrition to join our academic team in the Centre for Nutrition and the Health. Our Centre provides the home for our academic portfolio, postgraduate and applied research activities, and commercial consultancy. The postholder will ideally hold a higher degree in Dietetics and be a Registered Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council. The new lecturer will undertake academic and related activities including, but not limited to, the design, delivery, and leadership of topics in clinical dietetics and diet therapy across a range of conditions, as well as supervision of student research projects.
This part-time (0.8 fte) post is ideally suited for a dietitian with an interest in maintaining an existing role as a practitioner whilst pursuing a role as an educator. We can consider splitting the FTE between two candidates.
