Their product offerings are centered around flexible packaging, and they are seeking a dynamic sales professional who wants to widen their reach in the eastern part of the UK from North London to Yorkshire.
Area Sales Manager
Location: Nottinghamshire - East UK
Salary: £40,000 - £52,000 (DOE) + Uncapped Commission (£80,000+)
Benefits: 23 days holiday plus bank which rises to 28, health care, life insurance, hybrid car or car allowance, credit card, phone, laptop etc.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Developing an existing portfolio of customers, with a focus on new business in the Eastern part of the UK (Yorkshire/North London), with an 80-20% leaning towards new business.
2. Finding new customers by developing the areas provided, following up on leads, finding new accounts, using social media, recommendations, and referrals.
3. Client Engagement: Manage and strengthen relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of service and support.
4. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client experiences and effective account management.
5. Growth Strategy: Contribute to the ongoing growth of new accounts brought on by cross-selling and up-selling.
6. Customer Service Excellence: Proactively manage client needs, resolving any issues swiftly and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
Essential Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a business development manager capable of developing leads that are passed on and then converting.
2. Finding new business through social media, referrals, and recommendations.
3. Managing and nurturing relationships from cradle to grave.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
5. Passionate about providing excellent customer service and delivering effective solutions.
6. Ideally, you will have a background in packaging/distribution, but professionals with strong account management or customer service experience will be considered.
