Purpose of the Job To enhance the delivery of professional Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and therapy services within Millie College. This includes supporting the implementation of behaviour training, assisting the PBS/MDT lead in developing strategies to support behaviours of concern, and coordinating therapy services to ensure smooth and effective student support. The role is key in fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for students and staff alike. Key Responsibilities Positive Behaviour Support: Assist the PBS/MDT lead in developing, implementing, and reviewing positive behaviour strategies, guidelines, and interventions for students. Training and Development: Support the organisation and documentation of Behaviour training and contribute to the development of college-wide behaviour protocols. Student Assessment: Help gather and manage information for multi-disciplinary reviews, ensuring accurate and effective assessment of students. Therapeutic Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external therapy providers, handling administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. Team Collaboration: Work alongside staff to model and implement effective interventions for behaviour management and emotional regulation. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, prepare materials, and support the administration of behaviour support strategies and therapeutic inteventions. Essential Skills and Attributes Qualifications: A good general education and a commitment to completing Behaviour related training. Knowledge: Understanding of positive behaviour support, safeguarding, and the role of multi-disciplinary teams. Skills: Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Experience: Demonstrated ability in behaviour management, staff training, and working with individuals exhibiting behaviours of concern.
