Assist with purchase and sales ledger processes, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
Process supplier payments and ensure accurate records are maintained.
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Help with VAT returns, expenses, and payroll where necessary.
Legal Cashier work.
Filing and scanning.
Assist with general administrative duties within the finance department.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve financial queries.
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant/Finance role (desirable but not essential).
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines efficiently.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
AAT qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.

This role will be a part-time role, offering 3 days working in the office. As the department is becoming busier by the day, this role does have the potential to become a full-time position by Christmas.
