SEN Maths Teacher Location: Torton, Kidderminster Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 16 hours per week - 2 days Annual Salary: £12,660.00 - £19,633.60 (FTE £31,650 - £49,084 M1 – UPS2) Start Date: January 2025 Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with a SEN school based in Kidderminster. The school are looking for an enthusiastic Maths teacher to join there dedicated team. This school supports pupils aged 5-19 with complex learning needs including SEMH, language and communication difficulties and autism. Key duties: Contribute to the delivery and development of the curriculum, having regard to the educational, physical and social needs of the students within a learning environment. Work collaboratively with other members of staff as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Maintain and use short, medium and long term plans in delivering the curriculum. Set, monitor and review personalised targets that will optimise learning for each individual. Monitor, assess, review and report on the progress and work of students to parents, team members, senior staff, examination and funding bodies through reports and identified meetings as directed and as is required through school policies and procedures. Maintain knowledge through training and research where appropriate and take responsibility for own professional development. Develop lesson plans analysing and self-reflecting on the outcomes. Contribute to the review of Statements and EHC plans, PEP and LAC reviews. Qualifications: PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training Experience of working in a special school environment and/or in particular with pupils with SEMH or ASC needs or significant SEND, SEMH and/or ASC teaching experience within a mainstream environment Experience of delivering up to GCSE in your subject Postgraduate diploma in SEN Experience of successfully delivering a differentiated curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needs If this opportunity is for you please send your CV to Abigail Simpson All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
