Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer Required
Do you have 10+ years of experience as a Civil Structural Design Engineer?
Are you Chartered? Or near Chartered?
Have you gained experience working with Temporary Works / Construction Engineering Experience?
My client is delighted to be growing their Engineering Services team with the addition of an experienced Senior Design Engineer. You will be joining a dynamic, collaborative IN-HOUSE team and working on exciting projects across a variety of sectors including but not limited to civil engineering, construction, commercial, marine & rail.
You will be:
1. Responsible for the preparation and review of detailed technical designs for temporary works (including calculations, drawings, risk assessments and design certificates).
2. Proposing and/or developing value engineered alternative solutions (during tender or construction phases).
3. Supporting the Construction Team with Temporary Works Solutions.
4. Liaising with Temporary Works Coordinators, Project Teams, Subcontractors, Technical Office Team and Suppliers.
5. Developing, instigating and maintaining processes, procedures and standards for technical design.
Joining an international team who are collaboratively breaking new ground by transforming temporary works designs, you will be a strong decision maker with logical methodology.
You will have:
1. Completed a third level structural, structural or design engineering qualification.
2. A minimum of 10 years' experience in design engineering.
3. A minimum of 10 years' experience working in Geotech, Concrete, Steel, Construction or Temporary Works Design Engineering.
