Sales Ledger Administrator Harrogate- onsite Permanent, full-time Competitive salary plus benefits You will be expected to use skills, knowledge and ability to collect cash in accordance with company policy, assist with processing of sales ledger and credit control data efficiently, and help the credit control team to ensure that external clients and internal depot network receive a quality service. More about the role: Allocation of daily cash for group accounts Reconciling daily cash against daily banking Escalating unallocated cash issues to credit controllers, and chasing up when required Unallocated cash review with Senior Credit Controller Initial credit review for potential customers, with suggested credit limit Setting up new customer accounts, including credit checks, and escalating for sign off where required Issuing new customer welcome emails Managing Jet Aire domestic accounts. Making sure cash is applied to the correct account, and depots raise invoices Taking credit / debit card payments Approving credit notes Monthly statement run Consolidated invoice adjustment Assisting with development improvement of the CRM About you: CICM Qualification or part qualification A minimum of 2 years' experience in credit control but not essential Experience dealing with multiple and complex billing queries. Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Develops mutually supportive and effective working relationships with members of the team, and provides cooperation and input whilst informing others of own activities and progress Proactive and acts on own initiative, to be able to make sense of issues, identify and solve problems and to 'think on one's feet'.
