We are looking for a dynamic, organised, and enthusiastic Band 6 Integrated Care Centre Dispensary Manager to join our primary health care team at Munster Barracks, Catterick.
This position offers 37.5 hours per week. Requests to work flexibly and/or part time will be considered, taking into account business needs. Please note the salary will be pro-rata where part time hours are undertaken.

Main Duties of the Job
As the successful candidate, you will be the Dispensary Manager within the Catterick Combined Medical Practice and act as the professional lead and line manager for the 4 Pharmacy Technicians (Band 5s) that currently work across the 2 sites. This will be until the Catterick Integrated Care Centre (CICC) is complete and on one site in 2026, after which all Dispensary staff will be at the new site with minimal, if any, time at legacy locations.
Job Responsibilities
Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
* Supporting the Regional Pharmacist in the ongoing development of the new Dispensary at the Catterick Integrated Care Centre (CICC).
* Managing the repeat prescribing and reauthorisation process by reviewing requests for repeat prescriptions and medicines reaching review dates.
* Responsible for the generation and collation of reports on own practice and that of team on service delivery and local and national targets, and monthly reporting to Healthcare Governance and other relevant meetings.
* Working closely with the Regional Pharmacist to contribute towards the development and delivery of Head Quarters DPHC Pharmacy Strategy.

* Diploma or equivalent management experience in leadership and mentoring.
Registrations and Memberships
* Registration with GPHC.

Additional Information
The sift will be completed within 5 working days of the vacancy closing date. Interviews will be held on a date to be confirmed. There will be no reimbursement for any travel expenses for the interview.
All employees joining the Ministry of Defence who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a 6-month probation period (unless otherwise advised) effective from the employment start date. Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed. The level of security needed is security check.

Access to the NHS pension scheme is available to the successful candidate. There is no requirement to deploy as this is met by our uniformed personnel, but you will form the continuity of care required by our patients when based at home.

Salary
£37,338 to £44,962 a year Per annum - Pro rata for part time.
