Job Description
A leading, commercial real estate business is seeking an Energy Bureau Analyst (Energy Manager) to be based in their Central Bristol office, on a hybrid working pattern.
Reporting into the Head of Energy & Water Procurement you will utilise your energy sector knowledge to manage the energy suppliers, implement strategy, review supplier performance and work with numerous stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure success.
Key duties will include:
Build and maintain good relationships with clients, suppliers, tenants and colleagues.
Manage and streamline invoicing procedures, minimising debt.
Analyse and benchmark energy supplier performance and score procurement.
Provide good communication between all parties, Accounts Payable, Property Managers, clients and suppliers; ensuring SLA’s and KPI’s are delivered.
Oversee Auto Meter Reader, AMR, roll out projects.
Ensure Half Hour Data, HHD, dataflows are in place with relevant reporting processes.
Support ESG teams with data gathering requirements for sustainability reporting.
Support CoT, Change of Tenancy, requests.
Liaise with AP, Accounts Payable, Teams, TPI Consultants and Suppliers to resolve objects and any terminations.
Candidate MUST have:
- Good energy industry (utility) knowledge relating to metering, energy contracts, COT, MOPs, AMR, HHD, DA / DCs, account management processes, this does not need to be excessive as training can be provided.
- Strong analytics skills, capable of delivering reports and interpreting figures and calculations.
- Stakeholder and third party management skills.
- A proactive nature, happy taking ownership of your own projects.
Desirable are:
- Experience working in the energy industry for a supplier, brokerage, TPI or consultancy.

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of up to £35,000 based on your skills, pension and great benefits.
