Warehouse Assistant – St Clears - £24,000 with Bonus and excellent benefits
Ogi is a leading Welsh telco with big ambitions. We’re a network builder and operator bringing full-fibre services to communities across South Wales. Our Ogi Pro brand provides everything from telephony to managed IT services, alongside our high-capacity wholesale network that spans the M4 corridor.
Backed by multimillion-pound private investment, we’re proud to be an employer of choice in Wales, creating hundreds of jobs across four offices. Join a purpose-driven team with a culture rooted in innovation that’s shaping Wales’s digital future!
About you…
We’re searching for a self-motivated multitasker to join our growing team in St Clears. Experience in a warehouse environment (or something similar like logistics, stock management, or distribution centres) is a big plus. If you’ve tackled tasks like inventory control, order picking and packing, or maintaining warehouse equipment you’ll be well prepared for this role.
A forklift truck licence would be beneficial, though not essential, but a full driving licence is required as you’ll need to travel to our offices across South Wales to manage deliveries and stock. We’re especially interested in people with:
* Experience in a warehouse or stock control role
* Confidence to work independently
* Experience driving commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
* Good IT literacy and experience with stock control systems
* Strong time-keeping skills and attention to detail
What you’ll be doing…
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role is key to ensuring smooth operations. From picking and packing orders for our field engineering teams to managing stock for customer dispatch and processing returns, you’ll have a hand in it all. You’ll also transport materials across South Wales, working closely with both internal field teams and subcontractors to make sure supplies get where they’re needed.
Your typical week will run Monday to Friday, 8:30-5:00, at our St Clears facility. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Using inventory systems to track goods receipt and dispatch
* Coordinating with departments on special deliveries
* Assisting the warehouse supervisor in prioritising tasks
* Optimising space and safely handling equipment
* Receiving deliveries and scanning equipment into storage
* Keeping inventory systems up-to-date and accurate
* Upholding high standards in health, safety, hygiene, and security
Full training will be provided, and you'll be part of a supportive, hands-on team.
