Think FE is working with a leading further education college in Nottinghamshire, who is seeking an experienced Curriculum Manager to oversee its Civil Engineering and Rail department. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to lead a dedicated team, ensuring excellent teaching and learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire the Civil Engineering and Rail curriculum team, fostering outstanding teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
Oversee the smooth operation of the department, including full-time courses, apprenticeships, part-time courses, Engineering Boot Camps, and future T-Levels.
Teach approximately 12 hours per week while driving departmental excellence.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including CIAG services, support coaches, safeguarding teams, and industry partners, to promote continuous improvement and deliver projects.
Manage and support staff, ensuring alignment with the college’s strategic objectives. Candidate Requirements
Minimum Level 3 subject qualification and a recognised teaching qualification.
Proven experience in delivering and improving high-quality teaching and assessment in Civil Engineering and Rail curriculum (Levels 1, 2, 3, and apprenticeships).
Robust knowledge of T-Levels and the evolving FE sector.
A self-motivated and energetic professional with a strong sense of autonomy.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a track record of achieving demanding targets.
