JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Local Business Development Manager is to support and develop the Fleet & business operation within Brighton and JLR Division. This includes growing Fleet, Business, and retail sales channels by developing relationships with local businesses and renewal activities, ensuring compliance with all FCA and JLR policies, and reporting to the JLR division Fleet Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop new business through prospecting non-showroom traffic, introducing and following up suitable sales prospects.
2. Manage Renewal activity within the dealership/group.
3. Support retail sales executives with product and business knowledge.
4. Manage direct sales channel and activity.
5. Provide exceptional client experiences throughout the sales process and deliver exceptional NPS results.
6. Attend marketing/networking events to increase local representation and network.
7. Work with the aftersales department to generate leads into the department.
8. Adhere to FCA regulations and compliance with all Fleet sales.
9. Support other LBDMs and Fleet operations as required.
10. Advise corporate customers on vehicle specifications and new developments, including the financial implications of different funding plans.
11. Accurately maintain the corporate customer database.
12. Ensure pre-delivery inspections take place and communicate any delays to customers.
13. Maintain accurate stock availability information.
14. Accurately calculate part exchange vehicles over allowance and finance terms.
15. Report weekly/monthly ratios against targets and communicate all activities and sales to the manufacturer promptly and accurately.
16. Participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions.
17. Ensure the safety and security of people, vehicles, and property at all times, reporting any known faults or hazards.
Skills & Requirements
Essential:
* Full UK driving licence.
* Smart appearance.
* Competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT.
Desirable:
* Relevant product knowledge.
* Motor industry experience.
* Previous experience working within a Fleet role.
