Closing Date: 25/04/2025 Location: Nottingham Contract: Permanent Recruitment Partner: Frankie McCallister-Lyas Overview: The Customer Marketing Team is seeking an experienced Senior Customer Marketing Analyst to lead on analytical projects and targeted personalisation. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decisions that enhance customer experience, campaign performance, and overall business value. You'll leverage your deep understanding of customer data to provide actionable insights that go beyond surface-level analysis, always addressing the "so what" to ensure meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Insights: Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders – presenting these ideas in high profile meetings. Always consider the "so what" factor to ensure that recommendations are aligned with broader business goals and objectives. • Customer Value Analysis: Develop a holistic view of the customer by analysing lifetime value, segmentation, and behaviour patterns. Provide insights into how marketing campaigns impact different customer segments and suggest strategies for maximising customer value. • Campaign Activation and Continuous Improvement: Lead the delivery and analysis of personalised marketing campaign activity, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, conversion, ROI, and customer retention. Utilise Marketing Campaign and data analysis tools to improve campaign automation, efficiency and performance. • Technical Leadership: This role does not have direct line management, but it is expected that you will act as a role model and work with team leaders to develop and guide our team of analysts. What you’ll need to have: • Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent analytical experience • 5 years’ experience working in marketing analytics or a similar role • Experience of Campaign automation and execution tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign Classic or HCL Unica. • Experience in targeting, optimisation or measurement of direct or digital marketing activity • Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI) • Strong data presentation skills and evidence of being able to present complex ideas to less analytically minded stakeholders It would be great if you also have: • Previous experience in Loyalty scheme or retail analytics • Previous experience working with and migrating analytics to Databricks. • Experience with digital analytics (preferably GA4 or similar) Our benefits Boots Retirement Savings Plan Discretionary annual bonus Generous employee discounts Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay and gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a child Flexible benefits scheme including option to buy additional holiday, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes and much more.
