Job Description
As the Site Engineering Manager for a leading food manufacturer, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance team delivering engineering strategies across their Trafford manufacturing site.
This challenging role requires a time served/apprentice trained engineer with previous experience in a fast-paced environment in a Senior Engineering Manager role, there are ongoing CapEX projects; so you will have previous experience of managing budgets and working alongside a dedicated projects team.
Our client is an established manufacturer, who manufacture and supply authentic global foods to the hospitality and retail, foodservice and wholesale sectors, the site is AA BRC rated; therefore, you will have experience of working within a highly regulated/audited site.
Your responsibilities as Site Engineering Manager will include:
To develop and implement a planned preventative maintenance strategy for the site. Responsible for coaching, developing and leading all direct reports and for the successful application of lean manufacturing within the site maintenance team both structurally and culturally. Responsible for advising manufacturing and the GM on engineering maintenance budgets including periodic reviews.
