Finance Director, Hotels, London (office-based).£120,000 + bonus
The role:
We are working with a UK-based investment firm specialising in Hotel Real Estate across Europe.They encompass acquisitions, asset management, and operations.
As Finance Director, you will oversee the financial management of large-scale hotel and real estate investment projects, ensuring strong financial controls, strategic planning, and commercial decision-making.This role requires a dynamic financial leader with deep expertise in real estate finance, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to drive financial performance while managing risk.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the financial strategy, planning, and forecasting for hotel development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and investor expectations.
* Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost control, financial viability, and return on investment through rigorous financial oversight.
* Manage financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.
* Work closely with investors, banks, and internal stakeholders to secure funding, optimise capital structures, and manage financial covenants.
* Identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure robust financial governance across all projects.
* Present financial updates to senior executives, investors, and board members, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making.
* Collaborate with project teams to optimize financial performance, streamline processes, and enhance cost efficiencies.
Key Requirements
* Extensive experience in financial leadership roles within real estate, hospitality, or large-scale investment projects.
* Strong financial acumen, including budget management, cost control, and financial forecasting.
* Deep understanding of real estate finance, project funding, and investment analysis.
* Proven ability to manage financial risk, drive cost efficiencies, and implement financial controls.
* Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Proficiency in financial modeling, reporting tools, and project management methodologies.
* Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable.
