Take a closer look at the role: Job description: We have an opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the statutory compliance of the Finance team including monthly investor reporting requirements. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of FRS 102 and US GAAP, have experience of consolidations and must be able to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders. What you will be doing: Lead the preparation of periodic accounts, reconciling balance sheets and reporting Support the Financial Controller in the delivering the month end timetable to ensure that transactions are processed within a timely manner Ensure appropriate support is provided for transactions and accounting schedules Assist in the design and delivery of monthly investor packs including a consolidation Design and implement internal controls and processes to ensuring controls by design are included within all processes Complete annual statutory accounts reporting Leading the annual audit and liaising with external auditors Coordinating the cashflow forecasting and reporting Supporting with Capex reviews and reporting Support colleagues with updates on regulation changes impacting the business. Provide coaching and training to junior team members Requirements Qualified Accountant – ACCA / ACA US GAAP experience Solid understanding of financial reporting standards Proven experience in financial control with an ability to work fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders/directors. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
