CIVIC OFFICER LEGAL & DEMOCRATIC Permanent Position Part Time – 20 hours per week, working Monday to Friday Grade SO1 (scp 23 - 25) - £18,036 - £19,046 p.a. From managing the Chairman of Rochford District Council’s diary, to organising high profile civic and charity events, no day is the same in this unique and interesting role. This position will put you at the forefront of an all-year round programme of civic engagement within Rochford District Council and providing support to the Chairman in carrying out an extensive number of engagements each year. The successful candidate must be committed to providing a high standard of customer care and will take prime responsibility for the direct liaison with a wide range of residents and community groups, as well as regular contact with a variety of dignitaries and high-level public servants. Teamwork is essential as well as being able to work creatively on your own initiative to meet deadlines.
