Estates and Facilities Manager
We are seeking to appoint an estates and facilities manager to lead the continuing development of estates and facilities management across the trust. This role will be integral in creating and maintaining inspiring and enabling environments for our pupils so they can confidently learn and play in safe, secure and enriching spaces.
The post holder will ensure that support structures reflect best practice in all aspects of compliance, health and safety, maintenance, security, capital projects and facilities management in line with statutory and regulatory requirements. Leading the site-management team, you will proactively drive the support, advice and guidance needed to improve our services so that they are run in a highly competent and effective manner with a focus on service partnership across our schools.
Location:
Based in Worcester – this role will require frequent travel between the trust’s school sites which are located across Worcestershire, Sandwell and Dudley.
Line of Responsibility:
Responsible to the chief financial operating officer (CFOO)
Responsibility for:
Estates and facilities staff (direct line-management of centrally appointed staff and leadership support to headteachers for school appointed staff. This will include some site managers, caretakers, cleaners in charge, grounds maintenance and senior catering staff).
