We are recruiting Clinical Assistants to join our Integrated Neighbourhood Teams in the West of Leeds. We have bases in Holt Park, Yeadon, and Woodsley.
The Neighbourhood Teams run 8am to 10pm every day with various shift patterns. We understand that people have busy lives, and we offer flexible work opportunities where possible.
This is an exciting role that incorporates many different aspects of patient care delivered to a wide range of patients. We will support you with a fully tailored induction programme and will encourage and facilitate ongoing development, including the opportunity to develop and learn skills from team members from a variety of professions.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team alongside:
1. Nurses
2. Therapists
3. Self management facilitators
to provide the highest standard of care. You will need to assess and respond to the changing needs of the patient, working within your own limits and seeking support from the wider clinical team where appropriate.
You will undertake tasks such as:
1. Administering medicine
2. Wound care
3. Catheter care
4. Patient observations
You must have excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills. Please note this role does require a full Driving Licence and use of your own vehicle, which is essential to this job role.
