We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Chronic Pain Management team for 12 months. This post is being offered as a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.
The successful candidate will join our multidisciplinary team comprised of Consultants, Nurses, Advanced Care Practitioner, GP with Specialist Interest, Psychologists, and Physiotherapists.
They will attend our Pain MDT fortnightly on a Tuesday morning, provide outpatient clinics, and facilitate our Pain Management groups including Pain Management Programme and Body Reprogramming course.
Within the next 12 months, the service will be advertising further trainee opportunities on a more permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Work within a busy Pain Clinic as part of a close inter-disciplinary team.
* Develop, co-ordinate, facilitate, and deliver generic and specialised pain management programmes.
* Work autonomously within the pain clinic to deliver intensive 1:1 intervention.
* Assess highly complex pain patients for 1:1, group work, and specialist medical procedures.
* Act as a highly specialist resource to the wider professional community.
* Support policy implementation and service development.
