Our core mission is to empower the agency through robust data strategies and insightful analytics, helping to deliver on Homes England's strategic plan.
We are currently undertaking an ambitious data programme aimed at centralising our data onto an Azure data platform. This initiative involves close collaboration with data architects and data engineers to create a system that enables more efficient, scalable, re-usable, automated, and sustainable use of data.

As a Data Governance Lead, you will play a crucial role within the Data & Analytics directorate, working within a dynamic team of data professionals dedicated to enhancing the organisation�s data governance framework. This position is essential in driving the development, implementation, and operation of data governance policies and standards, ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of data across the organisation.
In this role, you will work across the business with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and other key stakeholders including Digital and Data teams to embed robust data management practices, driving the organisation's data strategy forward. This is a leadership role that will require a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership.

You are a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of data governance frameworks and the ability to apply this knowledge to drive impactful outcomes. You have experience leading teams and managing stakeholders, and you can communicate complex data governance concepts to various audiences in a clear and compelling manner.
