Overview: We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about content creation, with a keen interest in early childhood education. The intern will primarily work within the Early Childhood Education Department, capturing the joy and excitement of our children's programs and events. This is a hands-on role that involves photography, videography, editing, and creating engaging content for newsletters, emails, and social media platforms. Please note: This is an unpaid internship working 15-20 hours a week. General Responsibilities: Capture high-quality photos and videos of children and events in the Early Childhood Education Department. Edit and enhance photos and videos to create compelling visual content. Develop engaging written content that highlights the activities and achievements within the department. Assist in the creation of monthly newsletters to update parents and the community on upcoming events and important news. Develop and schedule content for email campaigns to keep our community informed and engaged. Manage social media accounts by posting regular updates, engaging with followers, and responding to comments and messages. Document special events, celebrations, and milestones in the Early Childhood Education Department. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels. Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and effective communication. Requirements Performance Expectations: Understand/possess an openness to Jewish religion and traditions Attend all meetings and events that support the department’s main objectives and responsibilities Positively and actively promote the JCC’s mission, membership, programs, events, and charitable purpose to JCC members and the general public Be familiar with the mission, vision statements, and Core Values of the JCC. Model the Core Values while working and communicating with members and staff Skills and Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field. Strong skills in photography and videography, with experience in editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in using social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for early childhood education and community engagement.
