Job Title: Care Coordinator Location: Windsor, Berkshire Employment Type: Temp-Hire | Present - July 25 Salary Range: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM / On-Call Rota – shared with the Registered Care Manager and Senior Care Assistant (currently one in three weeks) Work Environment: Office-based We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Care Coordinator to join our client homecare team. This role is vital in supporting both the management team and care staff to deliver exceptional care, ensuring our clients enjoy happier, safer, and more independent lives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the care sector or transferable skills in organisation, IT, and people management. Key Responsibilities: Client and Staff Support: Act as the first point of contact for phone, email, and system queries, resolving them with kindness and empathy. Coordinate and manage staff rotas to ensure seamless service delivery, meeting both staff contracted hours and client needs. Operational Duties: Approve timesheets accurately and on time. Monitor care visit clock-ins for punctuality and consistency. Occasionally attend care visits in emergencies to ensure continuity of care. Staff Oversight and Development: Conduct supervisions and spot checks, document outcomes and address issues as needed. Manage staff recruitment and onboarding, ensuring a smooth process for new team members. Plan and deliver training, including induction programmes and refresher sessions. Collaboration: Work closely with the Registered Care Manager to maintain and improve care standards. Support with tasks such as liaising with healthcare professionals and managing medication orders. Share responsibility for the on-call rota (one in three weeks). Key Qualities: Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Office 365 and rostering software. Proactive, self-motivated, and highly organised. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting people. Able to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities. Compassionate and empathetic towards clients and their families. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Certificate of Higher Education (preferred). Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (preferred). Experience: Experience in care or a transferable role where organisational and IT skills were central. Licence: Full driving licence with access to a car. Additional Information: Salary includes pension and 28 days of holiday. Some duties, such as spot checks or care assessments, may require availability outside standard office hours. This role requires an Enhanced DBS Check following a successful selection process.
