An opportunity for a Social Media Manager has become available working with one of the most experienced and successful independent agencies of its kind in the UK. It is an exciting time to join this company, and as Social Media Manager you’ll be handling content for some of their most prestigious clients. Applicants will ideally have agency-focused experience (will consider in-house too), ideally in either the retail, leisure, or hotel sectors, however open on industry if the skillset and experience are both there.
Key responsibilities:
* Social Media Strategy: Staying on top of latest platform updates, industry trends and competitor activities to help structure each client approach.
* Content Creation and Curation: Creating compelling and engaging content for flagship clients across various social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok.
* Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns that align with client objectives and contribute to overall marketing efforts.
* Track and analyse campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to clients.
* Optimize ad performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Community Management: Foster and engage with online communities, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
* Daily moderating of social channels, responding to posts and direct messages and escalating customer service queries to clients.
* Monitor social media channels for brand mentions and sentiment analysis.
* Reporting: Using social media analytics, build reports that summarise performance of channels/campaigns based on KPIs, with added value insights to improve results and further engage with target audiences.
Experience/Requirements:
* At least 3+ years' experience in a similar social media manager level position (ideally agency side, but open to in-house too).
* Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and experience managing projects.
* Experience in community management.
* Ability to write, edit and create content, with excellent attention to detail and an eye for proofreading.
* In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends and best practices.
